2 Hour Private Sail For UP TO 6 GUESTS MAXIMUM on our 47ft. Beneteau Sailing Yacht

Looking for a romantic date idea, a girls trip, or perhaps a memorable family adventure? All sails are *PRIVATE*, which means you get the *ENTIRE YACHT TO YOURSELVES* plus the captain/crew for an invigorating 2 hour sailing experience. You may have up to 6 guests, including yourself!


  • 2hr Private Sails are $399 for the first 2 passengers (excludes holidays).
  • Weekday Value Pricing: $349 for the first 2 passengers on any Yacht Experience on a Monday thru Thursday prior to 3pm only (excluding holidays).
  • You may add up to 4 additional passengers (ages 0 to 100) to your private sail for $89 per person. No more than 6 passengers can be in your group.
  • Add an extra hour of boat time (3 hours total) for $149.  Start time becomes 30-60min earlier. Not available in March, April,  and October
  • Upgraded food & beverage options are available when you book!

6 passengers maximum per U.S. Coast Guard requirements. Does not include the captain & crew.  (No exceptions)

Lock in that special date now by paying for the first 2 passengers. You may pay for up to 4 additional passengers the day of your sail.

‘4 person minimum sails’ require payment for 4 passengers at the time of booking.

You may add passengers at anytime but we ask that you please text or call us prior to your sail so we are prepared for all guests.  Payment may be made by cash, card, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Pay or Zelle.

All Yacht Experiences include:

  • A 2 hour cruise along the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain on our spacious and stable 47ft Beneteau Oceanis sailing yacht.
  • Your choice of a Private Day Sail or a Private Sunset Sail – times shown when you book.
  • A short safety briefing from Master Captain Doug followed by a 2 hour sail.
  • Complimentary craft beer, white wine, non-alcoholic beverages and individualized packaged snacks, such as Zapp’s chips, popcorn, and cookies.  (See F.A.Q.’s page about bringing your own food or drink.)
  • Comfortable seating under the large canopy or up on deck with our plush and padded seats with back support.
  • Enjoy the soothing sounds of the boat moving through the water or sail to your favorite tunes on our wonderful sound system. (see below for more details)
  • An opportunity to get behind the wheel and take full control of the yacht.  (This is a great picture moment. Just ask Captain Doug and he will make it happen! )
  • Warm blankets for those colder days.
  • Very clean restrooms and all proper safety equipment onboard.
  • Beautiful & spacious lounge below.
  • See the New Orleans downtown skyline from the water as well as the world’s longest bridge over water, the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.
  • Captain Doug will offer an incredible close up water view and explanation of the most important components designed to protect New Orleans from a hurricane storm surge.

Do you love music?  Want to be the D.J. on the yacht?  


We will provide you with our special iPad so you can select songs/playlists through Spotify Premium.  Or, you can just chill with Captain Doug’s yacht themed playlist or request your favorite Sirius XM channel.

Come really prepared by creating a special 2hr playlist on Spotify just for your private sail.  Don’t forget to make it public so you will be able to access it from the yacht ipad.

Our boat is registered as a recreational class vessel so we can only take 6 paying passengers.  Please don’t ask us if more than 6 can come.  We can’t allow it.   Sorry!

WEATHER CONDITIONS NOTE: In New Orleans especially during the summer months, rain and thunderstorms are isolated and usually short-lived. However, if it’s an actual weather system with potentially unsafe conditions, the captain will cancel at his discretion, and refunds will be provided.
